  • Personal Background

    Evan was born and raised in Lexington, KY where he was active in sports (baseball and basketball), church, and community activities. He moved to the greater Cincinnati area in 2001 to study theology at Cincinnati Christian University, where he was also a member of the Men’s Basketball team. In 2003 he transferred to Northern Kentucky University to finish out his studies.

    Evan has called Liberty Township home for over a decade. He and wife Anne-Marie live in Carriage Hill with their children Mary-Lyn, Clayton, and Charlie. There they are engaged in local sports organizations, frequent small businesses, and are actively supportive of the public school system.

    Education & Career

    Evan holds a bachelors degree in Public Relations from Northern Kentucky University and a Master’s Degree from Saint Edward’s University in Austin, TX. During a gap year prior to enrolling at Cincinnati Christian he worked for the Lexington Fayette Uban County Government, where he gained a practical understanding of how government works—and how it can work better for the people it serves. His professional background includes strategizing and executing large scale projects for major brands, advising executive level stakeholders, and leading strategic planning and alignment efforts for internal and external organizations. Translation- Evan knows how to get things done.

    Evan currently serves as Senior Vice President at OnPoint Warranty Solutions, based out of Louisville, KY where he oversees all aspects of sales, marketing, regulatory, and program operations for major appliance and electronics manufacturers l across the globe.

    Candidiate for Liberty Township Trustee

    Evan Poll is a long-time Liberty Township resident who is running for Township Trustee to bring thoughtful, transparent leadership to a community he deeply values. Evan is focused on building a strong future for Liberty Township—one decision at a time.

  • Community Involvement

    Evan has a history of volunteering in a variety of capacities and roles. His commitment to service dates back to 1994 where, at the age of 12, he volunteered in Ernie Fletcher’s first campaign for the KY House of Representatives. Fletcher would serve 3 terms in that role, and later go on to be the 60th Governor of KY.

    Evan served as youth leader for middle school students at Southern Acres Christian Church in Lexington from 1999-2001. He then filed a similar role at Milford Christian Church in Milford, Ohio from 2001-2003 while pursuing his undergraduate degree. Upon graduation, Evan volunteered as high school leader at Southland Christian Church in Lexington, KY from 2005-2007.

    Currently, Evan is Vice President of Mason Lacrosse Club. He has 12 years of volunteer coaching experience for basketball programs in Lexington, Milford, and Mason. He has also served as Vice President and assistant coach for the Mason Lacrosse Club since 2019.

    Why Evan is Running

    Evan is running to ensure that Liberty Township continues to thrive while protecting what makes it special: strong neighborhoods, fiscal accountability, green space, and a responsive government.

    His top priorities as Trustee will include:

    -Responsible growth that balances development with community values and character

    -Investing in public safety and essential services

    -Making township operations more transparent and accessible to residents

    With his campaign theme “Leadership for today, vision for tomorrow.” Evan is focused on delivering common-sense solutions that reflect Liberty Township’s priorities. He believes in listening first, acting with integrity, and leading with long-term thinking.
